UNEMPLOYED

If I go to another job fair, fill out another two mile long application, reply to another "pay me for a job" company I am going to scream. And who are these people who want you to pay them for a job? I went to a company about five months ago. I was excited as I dressed. I had talked to a couple of friends (none of which had used the service) who told me the company only charged $150 to find a person employment. I didn't really have the money but at that point I was about six months in, looking for a job. I was becoming quite frustrated. So, I went to see this man about a job. He told me that he could guarantee employment but I would have to pay him $800 up front, and then a percentage of my paycheck for the next 6 to 8 months. I don't remember the percentage because after he said $800 I was done. I would have had to scrape together the $150. Where the hell was I supposed to get $800? Who does this company serve?    
Then I tried the work from home thing. That was about $400 wasted on absolutely nothing at all. I have about five websites floating around in cyberspace that I can do nothing with. And just so you know, Ms. Shirley Strawberry, the company you're promoting is garbage. They are taking money from people who really don't have it to give. Celebrities should research companies before they put their name on them. But hey, who really cares. That's another paycheck for them. And of course, that is the bottom line. I even had someone from one of these work from home companies to call me and tell me that if I invested a little more he would teach me how to use other people's money to make money. And I figured if I had to make money the way he was making money, by claiming to be selling a product when the only thing I'm selling is a dream, then I did't want to make money that way. Don't get me wrong. I think people can really have successful online businesses but consumers should be told that the initial fee of $39.95 is only .01% of what they will really have to spend to get the business functioning, not to mention the actual hours you'll be online working on it.
In my quest for employment I have found that this country is all about services. Trying to get people to pay for services they don't even need. And why are companies who are capable of hiring people going through these predators to find employees? And once again, I guess, it all boils down to money. But it's crazy because they want you to pay them to find a job when, in fact, you need a job to pay them. But this just goes right along with the American model. Companies ship all the jobs overseas and then ship the finished goods back here for us to buy.
